While a friend and I were having lunch on my veranda this Kiskadee appeared on a telephone cable some 5ft. from my veranda's rail.

After we finished eating I rested the plate on the rail and started to converse with my friend, while doing so this bird repeatedly flew within inches of me and took French fries from my plate and then would return to the telephone cable where he would eat them.
