Here is a photo taken late in the afternoon of the widening of the East Bank Highway. 

It has been a long time since I posted a photo of the Demerara Harbour Bridge.  Even though I may have a lot of photos of the Harbour Bridge I think this is the only one taken from a moving vehicle. Also the ones I took a long time ago were taken on a cloudy day and this one has a very nice clear, sunny and blue Guyanese sky.  I'm actually not happy with the other photos of the Harbour Bridge and plan to retake all.

A sugar cane field near to Whales West Bank Demerara. I can think of a lot of reasons why some Guyanese overseas would like this photo. I'm sure some will have flash backs of stealing cane or playing in the cane fields as a child. Perhaps even the memory of passing by cane fields on there way to school or work everyday. Here is a photo I shot recently on the West Bank of Demerara somewhere in the vicinity of Whales.  Next time I want a phone of a Punt filles with Sugar Cane.

I spent the Easter weekend in Suriname. On my way back to Georgetown through Berbice I saw this Tapir somewhere between Moleson Creek and Coriverton, Corentyne Berbice.
